Unlike traditional hardware based GPS receivers that uses GPS chipset to process satellite signals, GPS/PC Jr. is a real time, software based GPS receiver that runs under the Windows™ environment. GPS/PC Jr. is available as an Intellectual Property (IP) solution, it is individually tailored to meet different customer’s unique requirements. Although majority of the core modules are common to most GPS applications, our engineering team can modify and fine tune GPS/PC Jr. specifcally for the customer's end application. Throughout the different stages, we provide full service engineering support to assist in designing and integrating the GPS/PC Jr. software based GPS receiver into customer products. A typical GPS/PC Jr. IP solution consists of technical documentation describing the functions and operations of each major component such as the RF front end, communication link, circuit diagrams, bill of material and the software GPS receiver (executable) that runs under the Windows™ environment.
